SPOONS

This all started with Margie at When the Heart Speaks! The rest, well. . . .

They fit together so well —
those spoons
occupying space
intimately,
side by side,
like two lovers
resting,
sleeping,
embracing one another
sharing dreams, perhaps,
as well as space —
as if
they had always
belonged like
that,
and were
meant to.

  4. Getting your mojo back, I see. I like!
I'm picturing my matching spoons, and how often they just fall directly on top on the one below. :)

    1. Well, they may be one on top of the other, but they are still side by side. After a fashion.

And yes, I am re-energized. And very grateful for that!

  12. Uh, they were meant to.

Spoonman, come together when we jam.
Save me, I don't know the rest of the words.

But it's nowhere as good as the poetry you write.
